Why do babies love "kid" music? We have a few CD's that are kids music, and Anne loves them! They always make her stop crying in the car. Not just any music will do, it has to be "kids" music.
Why is it that they have all of these colorful, fun, noisy toys but the cardboard center of the paper towels is still the favorite?
Why do they beg and beg to be picked up, but once you pick them up, they wiggle to get down and play?

Thats just the way it is. If it wasn't that way the world would fall apart.

It's law, along with not leaving you alone in the bathroom, it's in the baby-manual, didn't you get a copy when she came out? :)
Eddie is the same way, he is surrounded by noisy, fun, colorful toys, but he wants to go after the white envelope that fell on the floor, or the dead spider I forgot to pick up in the corner.
