I just want to brag about my husband for a moment. Justin is just finishing up his first semester at ASU, and it's ending quite well.
He presented his final project for Studio on Friday. The reviewers were very complementary, in fact they didn't have any negative comments! One of the reviewers was from an architecture firm here in Phoenix called Smith Group. They have a summer internship program for students. We are hoping that this will give him a leg up!
The students all voted on the project that they thought was the best, and Justin was voted first place! On top of that, in his Structures class, they had to design a sports venue. Justin designed a building for curling. He presented about 2 weeks ago. All of the Students and all of the Faculty voted on who's project they thought was the best. Who ever the students voted for got a $50 gift certificate, and who ever the faculty voted for got a $500 scholarship. Justin won the scholarship! So, we have been celebrating at our house!
CONGRATULATIONS JUSTIN!!!
(only 3 more semesters to go!)

WOW! Congradulations. Don't get too comfortable down there though.
Dean
Great Job! You are making a much better impact on ASU than I did. Keep up the good work.
Love,
Dad
Another wonderful confirmation of your great abilities and talent... along with... a lot of hard work and a very support, encouraging, inspiring, beautiful partner!
Actually, Mom...Shirley.. just left that last comment but didn't realize that Alisa had been using her computer late last night and had changed all the windows into her name (whatever you call that!)...So I closed everything and reopened it and now we'll see if it comes up under my name.
Ok, I know this is stupid but I am all teary-eyed over this! I am so proud of you Justin! Have fun celebrating you guys!
AWESOME!!! That is really impressive! I'm so glad you shared that, how else would we all know how Justin is really doing? Keep "bragging", Bill and I want to hear ALL about it, we are so proud of Justin!
