Desert Botanical Garden

We visited the Desert Botanical Garden last week. It was so beautiful and peaceful! I could just wander there for hours!

They have a butterfly pavilion. There were literally thousands of butterflies in there. They were flying everywhere and were so pretty.

We learned about metamorphosis.

Here is Annie the caterpillar

Here is Annie the Beautiful Butterfly!

Annie thinks she is a very big girl, and is very independent. She just took off on this path all by herself, like she knew exactly where she was going!

This was a giant sculpture. I think it was supposed to be like a nest. There were several "rooms" to wander through.

Such a pretty girl among all of the pretty wildflowers!
